Thailand is also known as Siam and officially the Kingdom of Thailand. Located in the Southeast Asia region. Neighbouring Country of Thailand is Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia. The Country also shares a maritime border with Vietnam, Indonesia and India.

Bangkok is the national Capital of Thailand. In terms of the Economy, it’s heavily dependent, on exports and tourism. Major Export includes cars, computers, electrical appliances, rice, textile and Footwear, apart from it also major in Fishery products rubber and jewellery. 

Apart from exports, the Tourism industry is also a major boost in Thailand’s economy. It contributes around 6% of the country’s Economy. As per the World Tourism Ranking 2019, Thailand is 2nd  ranking in terms of International Tourist arrival in the Asia Pacific Region.  And 12th  rank as the most popular Travel Countries in the world by World Data. Thailand tourism is also get boosted with Medical Tourism. As per the report published in the medical Tourism about Medical Tourism Index, Thailand is on 17th Rank out of 46 countries in 2020-2021. 

In terms of Living expenses, Expats can enjoy convenience as well as Modern Luxuries. The cost of Living is much cheaper than in many Other countries in terms of Living expenses with the popularity of Tourist visits. 

As general Accommodation ( Monthly rent in good Area vary from 10,000Thb to 60,000) depends on the number of bedroom and Facility near to them. But for groceries are very cheap i.e.Water (0.33L) 10THB, Dozen of eggs (40-150 THB) Depends on Source or Size, bread is 32-60 THB per 12 small pack, milk 1 Lit is of 40-80 THB, Taxi rate start from 35THB, City centre start from 33 THB. Domestic beer is 60-80THB, and basic food in the local streets is from 35-150THB. It considers that buying fruit and vegetables from the market is cheaper than the supermarket.
